The Chief Secretary, Sarawak, by his telegram No.33
of the 28th september 1986, licensed the L-port of 150 chests of opium by Messrs, J.A. Elias, who also figure in the list
of importere for Vingapore.

Perritorios in October last.
finally, I am now in receipt of a licence issued by
the Siamese Government, permitting ir. H.A. Nemazee of
Singapore to import 1100 cheste into wiam. Thus, out of
the 3917 chests recently licensed, the Bemazce family have
been directly interested in 2200 ohesta and are probably
indirectly interested in the remainder.
While the Nemasee family cannot be attacked for
their present activities, it may be argued that, in thus

use of them, they are being helped to build up such a
